About Rick:
Rick started his career in the salon industry after completing an intensive training at the Sassoon Academy in London, England. His first position as a stylist was in Cheshire, CT, and after a few years of working for other professionals had the opportunity to open his own salon in 1984. His background in education includes training in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Paris, Italy, and Minnesota to name a few. His commitment to the profession and desire for continuing education has led him to share his knowledge and give others in the industry an opportunity to grow, learn and tap into their own creativity, professionalism, and innovative skills. The 4000 square foot salon/spa is the culmination of his hard work, dreams, and the collaboration of a skilled and dedicated staff.

Rosie:
Rosie attended the Teach Academy in Guilford, CT. and has been working as a hair stylist since she graduated in 2003. She became a part of the Rikeesa team in the fall of 2004, and continues to seek extensive education which she shares with both clients and colleagues alike. Rosie is also a certified hair extentionist .

Beth:
Beth has been part of the Rikeesa team for eight years. She is a master hair stylist specializing in haircutting and coloring, she is also a certified hair extensionist. Beth attended Connecticut School of Hair Design and has won several awards in hair styling competitions. She trained with several nationally known hairstylists throughout her career.

Marissa:
Marissa attended The Gal-Mar Academy in North Haven, CT. and graduated in 2002. She has been working as a hairstylist for six years and has been a part of the Rikeesa team for five years. Marissa is enthusiastic, dedicated, and specializes in hair color and cutting.

Casale:
Casale attended the Brio Academy in 2000 and has been part of the Rikeesa team since 2001. Casale enjoys creative color, keeping up with the latest trends, and furthering her education.

Christin:
Christin attended Gal-Mar Academy in 1996 and has been a nail technician in Cheshire since completing her training. She graduated from the Institute of Aesthetics and Sciences in 2001. Her training includes facials, body waxing, eyebrow shaping, make up, certified in Crystal Clear micro-dermabrasion and oxygen treatments. She joined Rikeesa in December 1999 and shows great attention to deal with all her services.

Sarah:
Sarah joined the Rikeesa team in January 2004. As an esthetician and make-up artist she performs services such as Aveda signature facials, micro-dermabrasion, oxygen therapy facials, iS Clinical resurfacing treatments, make-up applications & lessons, waxing, lash & brow tinting, manicures, and pedicures. In 2003 she earned her esthetic certification from the Institute of Aesthetic Arts and Sciences, since that time she has also received many certifications from Aveda, Crystal Clear International, iS Clinical, and MAC Pro. Sarah has a vast amount of knowledge in her field and is always eager to perfect her craft and learn new techniques. She is very meticulous with her work to ensure every client is content and completely satisfied with their service.

Christine:
Christine received her massage therapy degree from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy and is licensed with the state of CT. She is an active member of the American Massage Therapy Assoc. and is nationally certified in massage therapy and body work. Christine specializes in Swedish massage, deep tissue, aromatherapy, and energy work such as Accupressure and Reiki.

Michael:
Michael is certified in all phases of body massage including Swedish, deep tissue, pre-natal, aromatherapy, the Himalayan Rejuvenation Treatment, to name a few. He is also a massage therapist instructor at the Branford Institute.

Kim:
Kim received her certification for esthetics, micro-dermabrasion, oxygen therapy, all phases of nail care, body waxing, eyebrow waxing, and body treatments. She has been with Rikeesa since 2002 and continues to seek the latest technology and information in her field.

Ann:
Ann joined Rikeesa in 2000 while maintaining her position as an instructor at the Institute of Aesthetic Arts and Sciences. Ann is experienced and educated in all phases of skin treatments, analysis, micro-dermabrasion, oxygen therapy, iS Clinical, and all phases of body waxing and body treatments, just to name a few. She continues to research and learn as much as possible to keep up with the latest information available to her.

Sonia:
Joined the Rikeesa team in the fall of 2007 upon completing her education and training from Academy Di Capelli. She is enthusiastic and eager to learn as much as she can to further her career and looks forward to servicing her new and repeat clients.

Michelle:
Michelle is our latest addition to the spa, and specializes in manicures and pedicures. Michelle brings with her, her skills and experience as a professional and enthusiastic part of our team.

Janet:
Janet started with Rikeesa four years ago as an assistant manager/front desk coordinator, and now is the key front desk coordinator/manager. Janet has an extensive knowledge of the salon/spa industry, holds her cosmetology license, and is the key person to handle any customer needs.

Jennifer:
Jennifer received her aesthetician certification from The Institute of Aesthetics Arts and Sciences in 2001, she specializes in skin care, make up, nail care, body treatments, and waxing. Jennifer continues to hone her skills and increase her knowledge by attending classes to further her knowledge, to further treat and educate her clients.
