About Rick:

Rick started his career in the salon industry after completing an intensive training at the Sassoon Academy in London, England. His first position as a stylist was in Cheshire, CT, and after a few years of working for other professionals had the opportunity to open his own salon in 1984. His background in education includes training in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Paris, Italy, and Minnesota to name a few. His commitment to the profession and desire for continuing education has led him to share his knowledge and give others in the industry an opportunity to grow, learn and tap into their own creativity, professionalism, and innovative skills. The 4000 square foot salon/spa is the culmination of his hard work, dreams, and the collaboration of a skilled and dedicated staff.

Beth:

Beth has been part of the Rikeesa team since 2000. She is a master hair stylist specializing in hair cutting and coloring, she is also a certified Socaps hair extensionist. Beth attended Connecticut School of Hair Design and has won several awards in hair styling competitions. She trained with several nationally known hairstylists throughout her career; her commitment to the profession is marked by her enthusiasm for continuing education.

Marissa:

Marissa joined the Rikeesa team shortly after graduating from The Gal-Mar Cosmetology Academy in 2002. Although she has ten years of experience Marissa is always seeking new ways to perfect her craft through ongoing education, her goal is to exceed customer satisfaction. Marissa specializes in hair coloring and hair cutting.

Casale:

Casale joined the Rikeesa team in 2000 after completing her schooling at Brio Academy and has been dedicated to achieve customer satisfaction through her experience and ongoing education with Aveda. Casale specializes in all phases of hair styling, coloring and cutting. Casale also enjoys eyebrow waxing and brow and lash tinting.

Rosie:

Rosie attended the Teach Academy in Guilford, CT in 2004, she joined the Rikeesa team as a hairstylist and colorist in 2005. Rosie has had extensive education from Aveda and Toni & Guy, she is also a certified Socaps hair extensionist.

Sonia:

Sonia attended the Academy DiCapelli in 2006 and upon her graduation and licensing joined the Rikeesa team as a hairstylist and colorist in 2007. In an effort to stay current and ahead of the latest trends Sonia takes advantage of Aveda cutting and coloring classes to achieve her goals, she is also certified in Coppola keratin specialist.

Kelly:

Kelly started her career at Rikeesa in 2000 as a certified esthetician from Brio Academy where she also mastered make-up application and instruction, make-up air brushing, and nail care. After a few years Kelly returned to Brio Academy to become a licensed hairstylist. Kelly is an all around professional that specializes in hair cutting and color and make-up application.

Christin:

Christin graduated from Gal Mar in 1996 and has been working in Cheshire since completing her training. She joined the Rikeesa team at the end of 1999 and in 2001 she went on to skincare school at the Institute of Aesthetic Arts and Sciences. Her experience includes facials, brow shaping, brow and lash tinting, body waxing, microdermabrasion, IS Clinical treatments, Shellac manicures and makeup. Christin shows amazing attention to detail in all the services she provides. Outside of work she is a wife and mother of two girls.

Kim:

Experienced Medical Esthetician, well-versed in all areas of esthetics.  Specializing in customized facials, effective anti-aging treatments, clinical resurfacing peels, microdermabrasion, power peels, hydro-therapy body treatments, Chinese skin analysis, and problematic skin treatments, including targeted skin diagnosis and nutritional mentoring to help reach optimal skin health.  Utilizing advanced techniques of differing modalities of massage including cranial-sacral, muscle energy, MLD, and stretching to create gratifying paramount experience.  Master waxing technician skilled in all facial and body waxing for both men and women, including Brazilian waxing.  Trained in the latest techniques to allow your experince to be as quick and comfortable as possible.  Kim has been with Rikeesa since 2002 and continues to seek the latest technology and information in her field.

Rose:

Immigrated to the United States in 2009 and seeking to develop her passion in the beauty industry she completed 900 hours of intense training at Brio/Marinello Beauty School. Her specialties include facials, nails, body treatments and waxing.  It is her gift to bring out the beauty in each client

Gayle:

Gayle has been licensed cosmetologist since 1987 and has been part of the Rikeesa team on and off for approximately 24 years. Gayle’s latest passion is esthetics where she has trained extensively at the Aveda Institute, to round out her experience she is a certified yoga instructor.

Dave:

Dave graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 2000. Dave is qualified to perform numerous types and styles of massage, and excels in deep tissue, reflexology, and hot stone massage.

Marybeth:

Marybeth has rejoined the Rikeesa team after a long absence, she brings with her the knowledge and experience of the Rikeesa mission and vision to implement and support the Rikeesa team to achieve their goals individually and as a team. Marybeth has strong managerial and customer service skills to provide the clients of Rikeesa, the outstanding service they deserve.
